Posting my April stats a few days early since I'm going on a trip to Moab… all expenses rest of month go in May.
What a couple of months! Down 27k, Up 49k. Wow, crazy. Good news is that I was mentally prepared for this and was pretty neutral emotionally. I'm a long term investor so I'm not going to get too emotionally wrapped up in market performance in any given month.
I'm controlling everything I can control. Each month I save a lot and invest it. All I have to do is to keep doing what I'm doing.
On a global level I already have a shit ton of money considering how poor so many people are. So I have to stay grateful. Even in the USA I have a lot of money since so many people have so much debt.
It's not really about the money, it's about the freedom. I'm building more freedom every month.
