Tax planner in Los Angeles (or more broadly California)

Hi,

My wife and I have grown increasingly frustrated with our super obnoxious tax accountant.

He does give us a great deal, but we're about done with the condescending tone and unwillingness to help us plan for taxes in advance. It's the same issue I believe others experience, where he's just happy doing a post analysis and file our taxes instead of helping us plan for tax-efficiency.

Does anyone have recommendations of a tax planner/tax accountant combo, who is FI-oriented, in California?

From what I've seen and heard, long term tax planning strategy is usually part of a financial plan (the best ones being from fiduciary advisors that are fee-only, advice-only, but charge $$$ because they're not getting sales commissions or a %-age of AUM), which is then taken and implemented by a tax accountant. I'm just a finance nerd, and have no affiliation with

but I've heard positive things about them. Also, advisors are like hair stylists - vibes matter, so use that free consultation to make sure that advisor or firm passes the gut check.
