The Friday Roundup

New Way to Share Wins and Ask Questions

Jonathan and I have been hard at work upgrading the ChooseFI website, and while it probably doesn’t look that different to you now, we have big things in store for it and the podcast!

The most immediate change is how you can ‘Share a Win’ and ‘Ask a Question’ on our brand-new feedback page.

Starting today, this is the new way to send in your ‘1% wins’ for the newsletter and podcast (easy voicemail or text options available and I’m hoping to play many of these voicemails on the podcast)

The ‘Ask a Question’ section will be something unique, as I’m enlisting many of our expert friends across every aspect of FI to help answer these questions.

Most of these questions will be answered by a true expert and turned into a post on our website.

Since their answers will be via audio or video, I also plan to put many of these Q&As on the podcast and pivot the podcast to the more conversational ‘roundup’ episodes.

I want the show to feel more current and having the ability to feature many of these Q&As as segments on a roundup will really add something special!

All that to say: Please send in your wins and questions and bookmark that feedback page.

Free Download of 6 Workout Programs

I received an incredible amount of positive feedback about the muscle-building episode with Dean Turner (Ep 516) and a lot of you asked for examples of Dean’s workout programming.

We unfortunately didn’t include this in the show notes, but afterwards Dean sent me this great free download of ‘6 workout plans to help you build muscle & lose fat.

Dean’s Group Coaching and Workout Plans:

I pay a significant monthly fee for 1:1 coaching from Dean and it’s the best money I spend on my health.

That said, he offers three less expensive options that offer incredible value:

  • Group ‘Optimal Hypertrophy Programming’ for $25 per month
  • Pre-written workout plans: $100 one-time fee
  • Personalized workout plan for you: $250 one-time fee Jon is a friend and member of the Richmond ChooseFI Local group and he had this to say:

I’m doing the Optimal Hypertrophy Programming monthly subscription. It’s $25 per month, and Dean provides all the programming, sends weekly emails, and holds weekly office hours for questions. He’s also very active in the training app we use, where he answers specific questions, including reviewing your form if you upload a video. It’s been great, and I can’t say enough good things about it. As a busy parent of two, this has been the most optimal solution for building muscle and improving body composition. [Brad Note: I make $0 from referring anyone to Dean. I think health is a massive part of living a good life in the pursuit of FI and I’m so passionate about his programming that I share it far and wide.]
