We have been thinking of starting a Financial Coaching business, but not for sure if we need any credidations or training to get started.

My understanding is you have to walk a very careful line when advising anything regarding personal finance and investing because if you give advise that goes wrong you could be held liable. This is why you often hear disclaimers "this is not advice" "I'm not an advisor" etc.

Hi Deaon, I'm also considering starting a Financial Coaching business later this year! I feel like all the experience I've gained pursuing FI has given me insight that would be very helpful to others.
So, I'm not of any help yet, but I plan on digging in a couple months.

I dont know the answer but, dont let it limit you. Start down the path of beinng a Good With Money Coach and as you progress things will start to get clearer. Wishing you the best and so many poeple need your type of offering so go help some people!
