Free Book Hack

A friend introduced me to this awesome website that allows you to download lots of different books in PDF format. It doesn't have everything as I've tried to use if for textbooks and been unsuccessful but it has worked for other books on my required reading list. Hope this helps!

A copy of textbooks are always put on hold at the library if the cost is truly out of reach. Otherwise, used textbooks and textbook buy-back plans are really the best way to go. But DO buy the book if it will be good to reference in your career. A new stats grad just joined my office. I asked her to help out with a data project not directly under her job description and she brought out 2 of her textbooks she had kept to help us sift through the data problem. They were great references to have even thought I'm sure she had doubts about moving them across the country with her.

No idea about textbooks, but I'm really enjoying the Libby and Hoopla apps. I had to get a library card. If that isn't an issue, lots of books and audio books available. Hoopla offers more than books.
