The Donegans are always such a joy to hear from! It's one thing to dream big, but it's so crucial to find the little and big things that add up to a better day-to-day life that fits what matters to you.

Another great episode. It's nice to hear y'all talking about how "extraordinary" is personal. Sometimes I feel like I'm supposed to want to bike through Europe or go on a Safari, or something similarly huge. After working 30+ years in a demanding job, it feels damn extraordinary to just walk to my local market as casually as I please of a morning to pick up a couple ingredients for tonight's dinner, to sit in my backyard with a book, glass of wine, & cheese & crackers, to listen to the birds, to take a little nap on the hammock, to take my dogs for long walks every morning, to take as much time as I want to finish all the NYT games, etc..I'm so grateful and feel so blessed to have this freedom.

Simple pleasures are just as important as big adventures. Sometimes even more so, since the simple pleasures can make the everyday all the better.
